FORGED WHEELS

GOYSAR forged wheels S.L. is a new company established in 2008, whose activities are the design, development, production and sales of light alloy wheels.

Despite its short life, Gfw has a long experience producing wheels, developing projects through the design and the engineering.

Gfw designs and develops its own wheels and also for its customers, focusing on a high performance market and on the most important and relevant customers from the automotive sector.

Most of the staff and the current technology of Gfw come from a previous international experience developing wheels.

Gfw have two automatic CNC Lathes JATOR TAJ-85, where the blanks are turned. After the turning the pieces will go to the CNC Milling Center.

The experience of Gfw as wheel producer have allowed them to optimize the turning process, reducing the number of tools and operations.

The Diamond Face finish is done without any type of vibrations and without deformations on the wheel.

These CNC Lathes allow to mechanize up to 23" one-piece wheels and up to 26" for the centre part of the modular wheels.

MILLING

Gfw has two CNC Milling Centers, one of 3 axles and other one of 5 axles.


The 3 axles CNC Milling Center is a high performance MIKRON VCE 1200 Pro. This Milling Center is used in the general mechanized of all the pieces without complex geometries for the 3 axles.

The 5 axles CNC Milling Center is a high performance MIKRON UCP 1350 Simultan. This Milling Center is used to mechanize exclusive geometries, combining the movement in its different axles, and for mechanizing competition wheels. Up to 23" one-piece wheels and up to 26" for the centre part of the modular wheels.

QUALITY CONTROL

The Quality Department has a laboratory with the whole necessary set of instruments to develop his activity. Its main tool for the quality controls is the Tridimensional Measuring Centre.


All the "first batch" pieces  have to pass the intensive dimensional controls established by the Quality Department.

SHOT-PEENING

SHOT-PEENING

All the pieces produced by Gfw, after the dimensional and quality controls, are trimmed and shot-peened.

Before the shot-peening and after the mechanized process, all the pieces are manually trimmed, eliminating all the sharped edges and the possible marks of the tools during all the process.

The dimensional controls, established by the Quality Department, are done before the shot-peening.

In the shot-peening, microspheres of steel are shot against the piece compacting and giving uniformity to the material surface. This process gives the material a higher superficial hardness and a better adherence of the paint. In the Anodized finishings, the shot-peening is a added value because its particular appearance.

PAINT PRE-PROCESSING

All the pieces made by Gfw that are going to be painted, have to pass the paint pre-processing (washing and degreasing) to eliminate the silicones and the components of the coolant of the machines.

The pieces are submerged in different vats (degrease, wash and acid). The conversion happens in the acid vat; process that facilitates the adherence of the painting.

All our wheels are painted in our powder coating installations, having being masked the adjustement surfaces before the paint process.

Gfw has a standard selection of colors with which we works habitually, but also we have a wide range of special colors for the most demanding clients.

Besides our our powder coating installations, which offers a highly satisfactory results, Gfw also have a cabin for the application of liquid paintings.

GOYSARfw not only offer painted wheels, also offer another finishings to be chosen by the client. Anodized finishings (with a wide range of colors) and Diamond Face finishings are the other option for your wheels.
